Some drivers, even before the proposed date to effect the changes in the fares, have begun charging new prices, a move which has been slapped with mixed reactions from passengers, with some calling for possible reduction in the charges.
The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has ordered its drivers across the country to revert transport fares to the original prices until July 11, 2020 which is the due date for the new increment to take effect.
