Paladin is sort of a happy medium, as it's magic that works in a similar way to rage. The downside of Druids is that very few groups wanted you to be any of those roles back then — hopefully WoW Classic players will be more willing to experiment with Druid tanks and melee/ranged DPS. I have already been using a lot of time to answer this question by myself and I thought I found it. -----9----------------5.9 %---------5.9 % Warlocks were the ranged DPS class if you wanted to have a lot more survivability than Mages. There are only eight races and nine classes in Classic WoW, with some select class/race combos added in later expansions such as Cataclysm (Night Elf Mage) and Legion (Gnome Hunter). Mages were the original glass cannons. Dragonbreath Hand Cannon has only 43.93 DPS, +14 Agility, +7 Stamina, a not as nice attack speed of 2.80, and reduces my hit cap by 3 %. Heavy armor in your face style magic. And in terms of racial choices, only Tauren couldn’t be Rogues in classic. Dwarves and Humans have often been quick to ally when the need arises, and are quick to offer a pint of ale. I tested this a lot when I was using a gun (had 6% hit the first MC/Ony IDs and never missed a single shot). It may be true that there are currently no good gun choices. Blizzard sets up forums specifically to help you…, WoW Classic restores old locations and revives…. That up there is an exact recreation of my first character and I’m embarrassed to admit that I ran around with that pony tail for years. Unlike other classes, only one faction for each race can become a Druid in World of Warcraft Classic. These races speak different languages, have different homelands and racial traits, and can pursue different classes. Why you should (or shouldn't) be playing Diablo 2. The Dwarves are strong, proud, and formidable humanoids who live beneath the snow-capped mountains of Khaz Modan, in their impressive city of Iron Forge. So I did! Still, back in the day, playing as a Warrior meant you could tank on pretty much any spec and still could DPS or PVP, and many raids brought multiple Warriors to switch between those roles as needed. Lore wise there are wild hammer shamans and hunters, and dwarf hunters are plastered on a LOT of vanilla art, and the generic dwarf npc is a mountaineer which is sort of a hunter as they use guns. -Δskill-----miss chance-------hit cap You were locked to one of nine options, with each faction getting eight due to that Shaman/Paladin restriction listed above. Compared to other melee options, if a Rogue got a boss’ attention and Evasion wasn’t up, the Rogue was dead.
